French striker David N’Gog began his career as a professional footballer at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in his native France before making his debut for the club. He left PSG to join Premier League giants Liverpool in the summer of 2008 for an undisclosed fee and his signing was hailed by manager Rafael Benitez as a shrewd one as he failed the scouting network at the club.

David N’Gog didn’t live up to expectations at Liverpool and he was on the move after three years at the club. Bolton Wanderers signed him from Liverpool in a £4m deal in August 2011 and he put pen to paper on a three-year deal until the end of the 2013/14 season. His first Bolton Wanderers appearance was in the league as a substitute and against Manchester United. He came on for fellow striker Kevin Davies during the 5-0 home defeat to the Red Devils in September 2011. His first goal for Bolton Wanderers came during the 3-1 away win over Wigan Athletic in October 2011. David N’Gog was a Bolton Wanderers player until January 2014 when he left the club to sign for Welsh team Swansea City. He had six months left on his contract at Bolton Wanderers when he joined Swansea City for an undisclosed fee until the end of the season with the transfer confirmed on January 27, 2014. His Swansea City debut came as a substitute for Nathan Dyer during the 2-0 away defeat against East London team West Ham United.

French striker David N’Gog left Merseyside giants Liverpool after three years at the club to join fellow English team Bolton Wanderers in a £4m deal in August 2011. N’Gog penned a three-year deal when he joined Bolton Wanderers. His first Bolton game was as a substitute for fellow striker Kevin Davies during the 5-0 home defeat to Manchester United on September 10, 2011. His first Bolton goal came against home team Wigan Athletic in October 2011 as he scored one of the goals on the way to a 3-1 win over the Latics.

David N’Gog spent almost three years at the Reebok Stadium before he left Bolton Wanderers to join Welsh team Swansea City on January 27, 2014 for an undisclosed fee. Five days later, the French attacker made his debut for Swansea City against London team West Ham United. David N’Gog came on as a second half substitute for Nathan Dyer, but he was unable to save his team from a 2-0 defeat at the home of the Hammers.

Retired French striker David N’Gog didn’t feature for the senior team before he called time on his career as a professional footballer. It must be pointed out that the former Swansea City, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Bolton Wanderers attacker featured for a lot of the France youth teams.

His first appearance for a French youth team was at the u-16 level. He had an attacking return of 11 goals in 13 appearances for the French u-16s. David N’Gog played for the u-16 team from 2004 to 2005 before turning out for the u-17 team between 2005 and 2006. The ex-Liverpool striker had a less productive time for the u-17s in comparison with the u-16s following the return of two goals in six games.

Frenchman David N’Gog spent just six months in the Scottish Premiership on thw back of his spell at Greek Super League outfit Panionios. David N’Gog signed for Ross County in January 2017 and on a short-term deal until the end of the 2017/18 season. He was able to reunite with Scotsman Owen Coyle who had him at Bolton Wanderers.

Coyle and Bolton had signed David N’Gog in a £4m deal from Liverpool in August 2011. The French striker signed a three-year deal when he signed for the Trotters. N’Gog didn’t have the best of debut at Bolton Wanderers after coming on as a substitute for Kevin Davies as the Trotters were beaten 5-0 at home by Manchester United. His first game for Bolton Wanderers in came in September 2011 and his first goal for the club happened one month later I the away win over Wigan Athletic. David N’Gog scored one of the goals as Bolton Wanderers secured a 3-1 away victory at the expense of the Latics.

Retired French footballer David N’Gog  didn’t play for the French senior national team before he made the decision to hang up his boots last year. The ex-Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Bolton Wanderers and Swansea City retired from the round leather game at the age of just 31.

David N’Gog featured for the France national team at various youth levels but was consistently overlooked for the senior team mainly due to the quality of players at the country’s disposal.

French striker David Ngog played for three English teams before he ended his career as a professional footballer last year. He announced his retirement from football last summer. His last club was FK Zalgris from the first division in the Lithuanian league.

David Ngog played for Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers and Swansea City in English football before he returned to his native France. The 32-year-old spent a total of six years in English football.

Frenchman David N’gog spent a big chunk of his football career in the Premier League with several clubs including Merseyside giants Liverpool. The retired striker played also played for Bolton Wanderers and Swansea City in the English top flight apart from his stint with the Reds. His first club in the Premier League whom he joined from French giants PSG in the summer of 2008. He made his debut for Liverpool in a pre-season friendly with Spanish La Liga team Villarreal before he found the back of the net for the first time in a Liverpool shirt in the next pre-season friendly game with the reigning Scottish Premiership champions Rangers.

David N’gog played his first match for Liverpool competitively during the Premier League game with Aston Villa. He was introduced into the game as a second half substitute. The Frenchman scored his first goal for the Reds during the Champions League group stage game with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. He was on target as Liverpool beat PSV 3-1 in the group stage of the Champions League in his first season at the club. N’gog made his first start in a Liverpool jersey in the league game against Portsmouth in February 9.

Cameroonian-born French striker David Ngog didn’t play for a senior team at international level before he retired. David Ngog retired from football last year after 14 years as a professional footballer. While he was still at the peak of his powers, the former Bolton Wanderers, Swansea City and Liverpool player was approached by the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon but David Ngog was not sold on the idea of playing for the former African champions. David Ngog would have loved to play for the French national team at senior level but he never got a chance to show his quality for Les Blues. There were too many talented players in his front for him to get an invitation to the national team.

David Ngog played for many French teams at youth level but he was snubbed for the senior team. He played for France u16, u17, u18, u19 and u21 teams. Ngog was the most profilic while he was in the France u16 team. He scored 11 goals in 13 French u16 games. His involvement with the various French youth teams didn’t stop Cameroon from approaching him to play for the country. His father is a native of Cameroon.
