Swansea City is fighting for survival in the Premier League as they are located in the dreadful relegation zone but a recent string of positive results has given the team of Francesco Guidolin a breather which is what Swansea City needed in order to maintain themselves just slightly above the relegation spots, however even with this recent string of victories against Arsenal and Norwich, being relegated still remains being a realistic possibility.
Alberto Paloschi is a winter signing who was acquired by Swansea City on the 26th of January of the ongoing year for a transfer fee in the region of £8 million. The Italian striker hasn’t really had a dream start with the Premier League club after only being able to score 1 goal from his opening 4 games with Swansea City but Paloschi still remains hopeful that things will change as he wants to not only start scoring goals on a consistent basis with his new club but he also wants to become a hero for the relegation threatened club.
The 26 year old forward stated that he wants to become the: ‘’Pippo Inzaghi’’ of Swansea City. One of the former clubs where Alberto Paloschi used to perform in was Ac.Milan and he had the chance to work alongside Filippo Inzaghi who is one of the top goal-scorers of not Ac.Milan and Paloschi voiced his desire to do the same thing with Swansea City.
“I had a great experience at Milan. They were not just great players and champions, but humble and helpful people who gave me all the help and advice I needed on and off the pitch.’’
“When I was a child, Inzaghi was my hero, my idol. He was a forward and I wanted to be a forward. He was the benchmark I was aiming for. I wanted to be like him, to do what he did and to try and be the new Inzaghi. Now I would like to be the Inzaghi of Swansea, I hope so.” Alberto Paloschi said.
